In November 1976, a bunch of the finest musicians of the time came together to celebrate THE BAND's final performance, The Last Waltz at the esteemed Winterland Ballroom.
This November 2018, a bunch of Hudson County’s finest musicians will come together to recreate this historic event at White Eagle Hall.

The Latest Noise and Silver Horse Sound present a one time only event at White Eagle Hall on Friday April 27, 2018 featuring musicians that have recorded at Hoboken’s Silver Horse Sound. The showcase will feature Ross Sandler and The Love Network, Project BWQ, Terra Electric, Viktor.digital, Brian Lawrey, Brendan Hartnett, Kirk & Kuz and Liam Brown.
Along with the showcase Black Flamingos, Collective Man and Diap will be performing sets of music.
In the cozy little wine bar in the basement of Pet Shop in Jersey City, I plan on having you original songsters get up and do two original songs, and a cover song of your choosing that has personal value to you, and isn’t purely a crowd pleaser. To test and showcase your songwriting capabilities, there will also be a writing prompt each month (a theme, a subject, an idea, etc) that you can choose to write a song for if you like (not mandatory, but encouraged). I’m hoping to make this a once-a-month occurrence, and our first event is scheduled for Tuesday, February 27.
The 7th Latest Noise Live! event will take place on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Maxwell's Tavern. The Fall 2017 mixtape will be released on the same day. The show will feature J Hacha De Zola's album release show for his 3rd album "Antipatico" joining the bill with full sets of music are Smoke and Mirror Routine and The Sunny Side Social Club.

Antipatico (out October 6th, 2017) is the third album from J Hacha de Zola in just over two years and throughout that time, listeners have had the opportunity to hear an artist consistently gaining ground on his own vision and voice. Some artists change immeasurably over the course of three records, whereas Hacha de Zola is actually becoming who he set out to be. “It is been an interesting exercise making the last two records (Jan., 2016’s Escape from Fat Kat City and Aug., 2016’s Picaro Obscuro),”Hacha de Zola says. “I wasn’t sure what I’d end up with or how I’d feel about what I’d done. It took time for me to become a ‘believer’ in what I’ve been doing, but with this record it’s become something that I feel is truly a reflection of my voice.” The sound and style of J Hacha de Zola is very unique, and is reflected in his choice of musical alliances, including Dana Colley of Morphine, Tom Waits collaborator Ralph Carney, and Frank London of Klezmatics, among others.
The Sunny Side Social Club
Formed by members of The Stumblebum Brass Band & Amour Obscur, 2 guys that have respectively been in New Orleans for no more than 5 days each and those memories have been erased by whiskey consumption. They have managed to capture the NOLA sound so well that they recently made a NOLA native living in New York for the past 10 years so nostalgic for home that she cried right there on the street where they were busking. Classic blues like Saint James Infirmary, reworked modern pop songs, and originals about everything from drinking too much to being rejected by a burlesque dancer to having a love/hate relationship with Xmas are all in their repertoire. There's something for everyone, and you are guaranteed to be drinking and dancing. Soulful blues accordion like you've never heard backs up a gruff Louie Armstrong-esque croon with growly nasty trumpet solos and upbeat marching style drums to keep you going.
Smoke and Mirror Routine are a rock n' roll band.
